How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with the following entities for specific purposes:
Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party service providers to assist us in delivering and improving our Services. It may be necessary to share our customer data with third parties in order for Beakon to provide the services requested by our customers. For example, we will need to transmit an individual’s cell-phone number to a telecommunications provider in order to deliver a customer-initiated notification designated for that individual and others. Under such circumstances we will only transmit the information needed to fulfill the obligations described in our customer’s service contract. These providers have limited access to your information and are contractually bound to protect and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information to comply with legal obligations, respond to government requests, or protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting or reporting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
You have the right to access, correct, update, and delete your personal information. You can manage your preferences for communications from us. Please contact us at [insert contact email] for any requests or inquiries.
